You could leave behind happy and feel like you have not left anything behind. Somewhere along the line, when you think of teaching, or leading a group of people, or becoming a representative of your profession; a certification course starts to have a logical sense.
Another factor is feedback. Workshops provide swift and informal advice. One sees back, makes an advice, passes. The certification programs are also enhanced. You are destined to make straight decisions, patterns change and even repeat. It does not give everybody its attention, but one is rattled into his senses.
It is time investment based and price based. Smaller and lower priced workshops. The certification programs are time consuming and preparation based. Naturally, the other is no better than this. They play various seasons.
The choice is free in terms of choosing an alcohol ink art workshop or a certification course. One feeds curiosity. The other builds capability. Having what one requires at a certain point saves the cash and even the effort and a majority of the second thought in the future.
